The client was looking for a senior Programme Delivery Director to be accountable for the delivery of a complex product that was being delivered by multiple teams with high technical and political risk.

The role

One of our Programme Delivery Directors worked with our clients Programme Director to oversee the delivery of the companies vision for the programme.

The role included:

Managing dependencies of varying complexity, potentially planning and feeding into larger programmes and portfolios

Removing blockers and managing risks, commercials, budgets and people

Providing indepth knowledge of Agile and other methodologies

Managing and communicating programme status to a complex stakeholder group, while balancing priorities

Acting as initial escalation point for the programme a
